Outdoor Recreation
The Beach side Outdoor Recreation Center is located across from Hurlburt Field's main gate, adjacent to the Soundside housing
area. Outdoor Recreation oversees the Marina, Famcamp, Paintball Program, Rifle and Pistol Club, Dive Shop, swimming pool,
picnic grounds, the Community Park Pavilions, the Skate Park, the batting cages and 3 RV storage lots. Rentals include
camping equipment, one and two-person kayaks, Sunfish sailboats, and Hobie Cat sailboats. Boating safety classes, which
are a prerequisite for all motorized boat rentals, are give at 2pm on Thursdays and noon on Saturdays. There is no charge
and no appointment necessary to take the course. Also, hunting and fishing licenses are now available.

The inside of this beautiful waterfront facility may also be rented for more intimate parties of up to 35 people.
Famcamp
Outdoor Recreation oversees 10 tent sites and 50 trailer sites with full water, sewage and 30/50 amp hookups. There is a
bathhouse and laundry facilities on site, as well as picnic tables and BBQ grills at each pad. Take a stroll down the nature
trails to a small private beach area; do some fishing or catch some rays! Our rates are $15 a night, $350 a month for RV's and
$7 a night or $150 a month for tents. We operate on a first come-first served basis, so you might want to call ahead a day
or so for availability outlook. We are conveniently located south of Highway 98, one block east on Hurlburt Field's main gate.
