Landing Zone Airmen Center
The Landing Zone Airman Center is designed as a hangout for Hurlburt military members E-4 and below. This state-of-the-art facility has it all: professional pool tables, cyber lounge, flat-panel television monitors, projection screens, movie theater, Xbox 360 gaming room and musician’s “jam” room. In the center of it all is a concert-style stage all powered by a high-end sound board—as a bonus, it even has fog (smoke) machines installed under the stage. Every month, the Landing Zone is hosting special events from Texas Hold ‘em and pool tournaments to movie nights and special televised sporting events. Everything is free! In addition, the facility also has wireless internet access. Hours are 4–10 p.m., Sunday–Thursday and 4 p.m.–1 a.m., Friday and Saturday. The facility is located on the opposite side of the library building (bldg. 90337). Hurlburt members are allowed to bring up to two guests (18 and up). For more information, call 884-5080. |
