Baling Machine Operator (Motor Vehicle Operator), NA-5401-08,
(Temporary position), 40 hours a week

Must posses a valid and current state driver’s license. Experience driving a 5K and 10K forklift is desirable. Must be able to safely operate a variety of baling machines including the aluminum can horizontal baler, the HD 72” vertical cardboard balers, and the horizontal Cram-A-Lot Baler. Must be knowledgeable of the three distinct methods of tying the finished bales off with proper size baling wire. Must be knowledgeable of the numerous safety aspects of each type of baling machine. Must be able to perform operator maintenance on each machine to include changing filters, changing fluids, greasing, etc. Must have extensive knowledge and ability to implement the Lock Out/Tag Out program for each baling machine. Must satisfactory complete a pre-employment physical and a National Agency Check with inquiries.

Recreation Assistant (Outdoor Recreation), NF-0189-II, Flex, 0-40 hours per week
Must have experience which provides a basic knowledge and understanding of outdoor recreation activities, such as but not limited to: Famcamp, RV storage lots, and boat slip registration, etc. Must experience in resale operations, ability to type and use computer. Must have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items, and use of cash accountability control methods. Must be able to get along with others. Physical effort requires walking, standing, use of hands and arms, and lifting of outdoor equipment. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries.

Motor Vehicle Operator (Youth), NA-5703-07, Flexible, 0-40 hours per week.
Must have Certified Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) from the State of Florida with an air brake endorsement to qualify to operate vehicles weighing up to 27,500 lbs with air brake endorsement. Must provide a copy of individual driving record no older than 90 days. Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of and skill in operating buses capable of carrying 16 or more passengers; traffic and safety regulations, practices and procedures pertaining to motor vehicle operation (buses); and passenger safety rules. In addition, must have experience which demonstrates the ability to: communicate orally; be courteous; judge road/traffic conditions and read maps to determine the shortest and safest route; interpret instructions, specifications related to motor vehicle operation (buses); do preventive maintenance and ensure passenger safety. Requires reaching, turning or moving hands, arms, feet and legs; associated duties require stooping, bending and climbing. Lifts and carries objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Subject to irregular tour of duty. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with inquiries. Physical effort lifting up to 40 pounds.

Cook (Golf Course), NA-7404-04, Flexible 0–40 hours per week
Must have experience in and knowledge of methods and procedures relating to food preparation and presentation gained in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar food activity. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, work safely, and do simple arithmetic. Knowledge or operating and cleaning food service equipment, characteristics of various foods, and the ability to season food and decide when foods are done is required. Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate and/or complete food handler’s training and a military health card. Must complete and pass a physical examination. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries.

Food Program Monitor (USDA), NF-0303-III, Regular, 20 hours per week
Knowledge of the USDA CALF directives, policies, procedures & nutritional requirements. Familiarity with forms, records, file maintenance & computer-based programs related to the USDA Food Program. Must be able to develop a rapport with he providers for purposes of the USDA enrollment and for offering semi-technical information and instructions. Ability to maintain records and reports accurately, spot errors and make corrections. Ability to perform monetary computations and monitor/gather data to complete reports and respond to program inquiries. Must have general computer skills in the use of various automated software programs, tools and techniques to produce a variety of documents. Serves as subject matter expert in the program area. Must be able to work independently in the field and maintain proper objective, professional relationship with others. Must have valid driver's license, up-to-date immunizations and must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must satisfactorily complete Installation Records Check (IRC), State Criminal History Repository Check (SCARCE) and National Agency Check (MAC). Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a current CPR/First Aid Instructor certification.

Must have experience in the proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Must be able to clean, and make adjustments to powered cleaning equipment. Must be able to perform the full range of cleaning duties. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps. Must be physically able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Must be able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time. Must pass a physical examination. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions as provided by supervisor.

Waiter (JR Rockers ) NA-7420-03, Flexible 0–40 hours
Must have experience or training in proper food handling and serving techniques. Knowledge of food menu items and wine selection for various foods sufficient to explain to customer. Must be able to follow cash handling procedures, make simple mathematical computations, and prepare checks for patrons. Must be physically able to stand, stoop, bend, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 15 pounds. Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages. Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate. Occasionally required to lift up to 45 pounds.

School Age Program Assistant (Youth Center) CC-1702-03 , Flexible 0–40 hours
Must be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Must pass a physical examination and get or have required immunizations. Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers' Certification, and satisfactorily complete installation, state and national criminal background check. Must satisfactorily complete mandatory training as specified below and demonstrate competency within required timeframes. SPECIALIZED: Six months experience equivalent to the CC-02 level, working in a group program with youth/children. Completion of all AF School Age Program Modules (or equivalent); or completion of 30 semester hours above the high school level, 15 of which are in youth development or a related field, i.e., Youth Recreation, Elementary/Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, Family Services, Social Work, Home Economics, etc.; or certification as a Child Development Associate (CDA).

Must have practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules & procedures and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment & facilities is desirable. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a current driver's license and provide a current copy (no older than 90 days) of current driving record. Must complete a satisfactory installation, state and national criminal background check and physical.
