The Education Services Office, on-base and local institutions, Airman and Family Readiness Center, and the local JobsPlus Career One-Stop Center will hold briefings at the Education Services Center, building 90220, on the
- 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, 9:00 a.m.
- 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, 2:00 p.m.
to explain the Department of Labor (DoL) and Department of Defense (DoD) Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (CAA) Demonstration Project.
Spouses of all active duty at selected military installations may be eligible for a grant of up to $3000 per year, renewable for one year for a total of $6000, to pursue a degree, license, or credential in the following high-demand, portable career fields: education, financial services, information technology, skilled trades, health care, human resources, business/management, hospitality management and homeland security. The pilot program is available at only 18 military installations and Hurlburt Field and Eglin AFB were selected.
